Today’s workout was a BEAST! I’ve learned recently that the worst and best superset is bent over rows straight into deadlifts. Even going super light will kick your rear! Finally getting some strength back after being out for two weeks. The area that gives me inspiration is M Y B E D R O O M I’m a huge fan of nesting so I love comfy places with positive and loving energy that I get to create myself ✨ When I first moved into this apartment, I was like 2 months into my business and I knew right away that this was going to double as my office so I might as well make it work for me. Before I knew it, I had my energy center (7chakras) practices and affirmations on the wall Then I added positivity quotes from an old calendar that I took apart I put up my vision board that I made when I lived in Portland ❤️ I have my goals where I can see them to keep them fresh in my mind And thank goodness for the sticky note idea because as you can see, I have them EVERYWHERE Having an area of inspiration doesn’t have to be super fancy, as long as it works for YOU I hope this inspires you to create a place of your own for inspiration to become the greatest you ♥️ Great things take time but if you love what you’re doing the time doesn’t phase you as much. Small wins • • • Today is Thursday which means it’s weigh-in day! I was excited to see what it would be following last weeks big loss, I was thinking it would it be a loss but not a big loss because of the big loss last week. Either way I’m always excited for Thursday and I was still excited for today. Like every Thursday I got up showered, got ready, and was getting ready to walk out the door when I decided to quickly check my Facebook and I found a notification that our 9 o’clock meeting, which is the meeting I weigh-in at, had been canceled due to weather conditions 😞 I really hate eating or drinking anything before I weigh-in, it’s a total thing with my brain but it’s still really bothers me. I knew the noon meeting would still be happening so I could go to that meeting and weigh-in but now I was trying to figure out what to do until then. Do I eat my breakfast? Do I drink water? There’s no way I could survive until noon without drinking or eating so now what 🤷🏻‍♀️ I ended up deciding to go ahead and go get my coffee and have my protein shake for 2 SP and drink lots of water all morning. I figured with the 30g of protein in the shake that will be an enough to hold me until lunch. I also decided to go for a quick walk before my way in to try to burn a few extra calories. As I type this it all seems a little silly now but sometimes I can’t control my mind I guess. • • • I ended up losing 0.4 🎉 but I spent the rest the day thinking about how did I go form a big loss last week to such a small loss this week. Yes a loss is a loss which is great but what can I do different for next week. Then all the sudden tonight hit me like a ton of bricks, small wins equals a big victory and every small win needs to be celebrated! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Duh! Every ounce counts, every choice makes a difference and a every loss is a loss. Girl, get your head back in the game. You are so close to hitting 20 pounds gone so get your focus back 🙌🏼
